A CITY BEE
The most famous bee, Soula the greek bee, will tell us her story: One day, while flying around, Soula lost her way home, she found herself in a horrible place without flowers ... Soula is inviting us to fly away with her, see the world through her bee eyes and look for the secret recipe for bee magic : 'seed bombs' that will save her and the entire planet. If you were a bee roaming around the city, what kind of things would you do? Where would you spend your night and where would you go looking for your dinner? Do you think there would find a nice place to meet with your buddies, the other bugs? Would there be a shelter for you to sleep at night under the busy lights?
WHO PUT THE FLOWERS ON THE TREE
Have you ever wondered how fruits hang from the trees? Do they sprout, or does someone secretly go at night and hang them like Christmas ornaments? Would apple trees produce apples if there were no bees? Do watermelons have seeds to make our lives difficult, or is there a hidden secret in these little black things?
We offer hands-on environmental education workshops designed by our interdisciplinary team of teachers, artists, environmental scientists aiming at environmental awareness. Through the arts, we invite the children of the city to explore nature and reshape their relationship with it!
Thus, we contribute to the creation of the next generation of explorers and environmentalists!
